We require a suitably qualified person to carry out modelling, data analysis and manipulation in the area of waste collection round design.
Hours: Full time (or possibly part-time leading
to full-time within 12 months).
Location: Runcorn Office
Job Description:
We require a suitably qualified person to carry out modelling, data analysis and manipulation in the area of waste collection round design. The successful candidate will use our proprietary, award winning, round design software to model and optimise waste collection rounds. He or she will also be required to carry out data analysis and cleansing using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
No knowledge of waste collection or round design is required.
Qualifications, Experience and Capabilities:
- Maths qualification (HND or similar in Maths) or possibly graduate. Alternatively, engineering qualification with strong maths and/or modelling element.
- Experience of using mathematical models preferred
- Good MS Excel skills (Macros)
- Good MS Access skills (knowledge of SQL)
- Clear verbal and competent written communicator
- Good interpersonal skills
Other Requirements: Able to travel within the UK when required.
